Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva,

and was saved from all suffering and distress.' C: c4 h; T& v1 y- u3 V, J
观自在菩萨

) ^5 Z4 I. o% |4 r4 Y- b) _照见五蕴皆空度一切苦厄

form is no different to emptiness,
, U/ r: ^8 C memptiness no different to form.3 Y; M- {. a* k6 _
That which is form is emptiness,
9 v) f. q" r" }' N, h( qthat which is emptiness, form.

9 s& v8 A$ ^) S& T, H" {色不异空空不异色
2 Z& T# z) Z" j+ ~色即是空空即是色
# a, ?% @, |( B4 i! `0 i* ~4 ySensations, perceptions, impressions, and consciousness are also like this.
/ w$ _; j! T% G @受想行识亦复如是
6 i2 h; n- F% t2 ]! J, kSariputra,
) q' I% _3 _/ J9 Aall things and phenomena are marked by emptiness;
9 Z+ O/ B+ G4 B+ h& W# `they are neither appearing nor disappearing,
0 k/ B" n$ r8 [0 b0 K% eneither impure nor pure,
8 P+ L; M) ^3 F' u k4 z* C& fneither increasing nor decreasing.( o# r* D0 V& J2 z: @3 t5 k" S
舍利子6 T2 ?2 I6 t/ U+ Q% x/ ~5 d% A( i$ v
是诸法空相不生不灭$ K6 ]! v7 y3 |( S7 K2 f8 y" V
不垢不净不增不减8 z/ ?4 e5 m/ g' }; d
Therefore, in emptiness,4 r- u0 F/ h6 K" ]7 s, g# r! o
no forms, no sensations, perceptions, impressions, or consciousness;
) v6 c( g* E6 h0 k/ q% ?5 R1 W6 zno eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind;
0 X8 B7 q$ ]2 k/ r" D是故空中无色无受想行识. l" \( o) O. t" K. N6 K7 A/ Q
无眼耳鼻舌身意
$ f& `% t$ t$ M+ M6 C! ]5 n d- fno sights, sounds, odors, tastes, objects of touch, objects of mind;
. f; n \# {8 o9 H3 @$ B. ?no realm of sight up to no realm of consciousness;3 T: ^# Q2 H* ^1 I
无色声香味触法
! @8 X% F' N, b: L; l无眼界乃至无意识界; m/ \, e0 I, u: `5 Y/ ]
no ignorance and no end of ignorance,
2 Y5 U+ r& k" D" X9 y c* e# Land no end of aging and death;( |3 g1 \% K' s3 f; K1 `
无无明亦无无明尽6 V% E' h" M Y
乃至无老死亦无老死尽1 ?& j! l( `; O l& c o$ f
no suffering, accumulation, cessation, or path;' X( C/ t% u8 _! L6 m% M
no wisdom and no attainment.) q& `2 ^! a9 G3 N
无苦集灭道无智亦无得 `( ~( o, Y; _
With nothing to attain,
/ i$ d' a# j' l1 Wbodhisattvas8 i3 G% _- I. I1 D* r1 T0 Q
rely on prajna-paramita,% X3 B/ v8 n2 Q$ }
and their minds are without hindrance.9 h; l2 u' D& z) J/ q0 N
以无所得故0 ^6 @$ }; G% q0 i2 f7 k" j
菩提萨陲依般若波罗蜜多故: P2 R& A, H4 K3 k! g* Y
They are without hindrance,
6 A, B5 a+ b- l _8 a3 b% rand thus without fear./ N9 K% t/ f" _. V
心无碍无碍故无有恐怖$ p& r" f# N# `/ `- L
Far apart from all confused dreams,$ Q* U, \% b' E6 E, @' H
they dwell in nirvana.
: X; {+ w9 K; I- `" c+ W* u/ ^远离颠倒梦想究竟涅盘
% x. \( X. M4 y& ^2 y; f- [All buddhas of the past, present and future( F9 C) ]* {6 W- @4 H9 V N
rely on prajna-paramita,, b- G# S. N9 E& r* U2 s
and attain anuttara-samyak-sambodhi.. t1 D! d+ M3 F- a1 W
三世诸佛依般若波罗蜜多故
& J' J/ x+ }3 |2 k! p9 p. R得阿耨多罗三藐三菩提 c o y$ ?8 S
Therefore, know that prajna-paramita$ {" Y, Z. |/ P1 b T2 X& ^
is the great transcendent mantra,* L) \0 x; m* x% I; J. j/ ~9 c( E
the great bright mantra,
V, c' `7 r4 ^5 a3 Xthe supreme mantra,% f5 v p Z) i. W, `" K! c/ M
the unequalled balanced mantra,; p! _; b! ?* @1 P# `
that can eliminate all suffering,
9 X$ t5 H& o) ]- p. V# oand is real, not false.
2 g0 K, ~5 N2 G3 h3 k故知般若波罗蜜多, R; Y- K! C0 ~( H
是大神咒是大明咒是无上咒
) @& P0 G' Q: E. N/ V) C是无等等咒能除一切苦真实不虚+ n5 R+ G% l# m) y1 [$ a
So proclaim the prajna-paramita mantra,

' R$ k1 e! u4 u9 _- l7 G4 e$ {* S故说般若波罗蜜多咒

bodhi, svaha!
